What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a non-so-invasive skin treatment. Is using thin needles poking to damage the top layer of your skin? The damage stimulates your skin’s healing process, causing it to create more collagen and elastin. These proteins maintain your skin tight and smooth. Microneedling devices of many types are available on the market. The needle’s penetration depth ranges from 0.25 mm to 2 mm in most cases.
Why microneedling?
Poking, and damaging your skin in a controlled way, the wound healing factors of the skin, force the skin to induce collagen. Additionally, it can help active ingredients to enter your skin easier and elevates the effectiveness of other facial therapies like RF. Microneedling has shown to be most of the time safe for all skin tones and not as risky in damaging melanocytes causing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Microneedling has been shown to be effective for:
Rejuvenating the skin, minimizing fine lines, deeper wrinkles, skin pores, stretch marks, melasma, or other forms of hyperpigmentation, scars, and acne scars.
All our serums can be used for microneedling procedures. Booster serums (high concentrations of single ingredients) are recommended.
We rate this treatment: 10/10.
